The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is inviting applications from talented and physically fit individuals for the post of Assistant Director (BS-17) in the Airports Security Force (ASF), operating under the Ministry of Defence. This is a prestigious Grade-17 officer-level position responsible for supervising, managing, and ensuring airport security across Pakistan. For Assistant Director ASF jobs, the following eligibility is required by the FPSC.
Candidates must possess either of the following:
Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s Degree
OR
Second Class or Grade ‘C’ 16 years of education Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Given the nature of ASF duties, physical fitness is strictly required. Candidates must meet the following minimum standards:
Height:
For males: 5 feet 6 inches (168 cm)
For females: 5 feet 2 inches (157 cm)
Weight:
For males: Minimum 106 lbs (48.1 kg)
For females: Minimum 99.2 lbs (45 kg)
Chest (for males only):
Minimum 32¼ inches (83 cm) unexpanded
34¾ inches (88 cm) expanded
Note: The physical standard of fitness will be verified through a Medical Examination to be conducted by the ASF / Ministry of Defence at a later stage. Only those candidates who meet these requirements will be eligible to proceed in the recruitment process.
Minimum Age: 22 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
A general age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per government rules.
Thus, candidates up to 35 years of age may apply if eligible for the age relaxation.
