Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Qualification: M.A. in English (at least 2nd Division) from a recognized university.

Experience

  • While prior teaching experience is not mandatory, it will be considered an added advantage for candidates.

Age Limit

  • Male: 23 to 35 years + 5 years general age relaxation = 40 years

  • Female: 23 to 35 years + 8 years general age relaxation = 43 years

  • Transgender: Age and sex will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

Domicile

  • Candidates must have domicile of any district of Punjab.

  • Punjab School of Mines, Katas, District Chakwal offers a three-year vocational training program in mining-related technologies, including Mining Technology, Mechanical Technology with specialization in Mining, Electrical Technology with specialization in Mining, and Land & Mine Surveying Technology. ​
  • Mines Survey Institute, Makarwal, District Mianwali, is the only institute in Pakistan providing a two-year vocational training program in Mine Surveying Technology.

Syllabus for Written Test

The written test for the Lecturer (English) position will be an MCQ-based examination with the following pattern:

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Subject Areas:
    • English Subject: 80%
    • General Knowledge: 20%
  • Marking Scheme:
    • Each question carries 1 mark.
    • There will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer.
