Educational Qualifications for Principal Jobs
Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s degree in any subject or
Bachelor’s degree (4 years) with Second Class or Grade ‘C’ in M.Ed / B.Ed. (Hons)
Equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
Note: The requirement of M.Ed / B.Ed. (Hons) is waived for candidates who possess a Master’s, M.Phil, or Ph.D. degree in Education.
Academic Experience
As per the FPSC, Twelve (12) years of post-qualification experience in teaching and administration in a recognized educational institution is required to be eligible for the posts of Principals in Islamabad Model Schools and Colleges.
Age Limit for Principal Applicants
Minimum Age: 32 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Plus 5 years general age relaxation under government rules, making the effective upper age limit 45 years for most candidates.
