The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is inviting applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the position of Inspector Customs / Intelligence Officer (BS-16) in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Revenue Division. The nature of this job demands daily use of technology for reporting, communication, and data analysis, hence candidates are expected to be proficient in basic office tools.
Due to the field-based and enforcement-related duties associated with this position, physical fitness is an essential requirement. Candidates must meet the following minimum physical standards:
For Male Candidates:
Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches
Chest: 32 inches (normal) – 33.5 inches (expanded)
For Female Candidates:
Height: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
Candidates must submit documentary proof of physical fitness certified by a Civil Surgeon, Associate Physician, or Assistant Surgeon of a Government Hospital as per Federal Services Medical Attendance Rules, 1990. The medical certificate must carry the stamp and exact designation of the certifying officer.
Minimum age: 20 years
Maximum age: 28 years
A general upper age relaxation of five (5) years is admissible as per government policy.
Thus, candidates up to 33 years of age may apply if they are eligible for the age relaxation.
